FAQ
Questions, answered honestly
What is BaZi?
BaZi (八字, "eight characters"), also called the Four Pillars of Destiny, is a classical Chinese method. It reads your nature and life's seasons from the year, month, day and hour of your birth.
I don't know my birth time. Can I still order?
Yes. We can prepare a reading from three pillars (year, month and day). Your report will say clearly which parts depend on the hour. If you have a rough window, such as "early morning", share it.
I was born close to midnight or on the hour. Does that matter?
It can. Births near an hour or day boundary are flagged automatically, and we may email you to confirm details before we prepare your reading.
How is my report made?
Your chart is calculated with classical BaZi methods and true local solar time, then cross-checked against a second, independent calculation. Your reading is written by our own software, which applies those classical methods to your checked chart and uses AI to write the interpretation. Every report is then checked page by page, and during launch every report gets a final review before it reaches you. Our reports are not written by a master or practitioner; our bespoke consultations are a separate, human service.
How will I receive it?
As a PDF sent to your email, within 36 hours of receiving your complete birth details.
Is my birth data private?
We use your details only to prepare your reading and deliver it. We never use customer data in marketing, and we don't sell it. Retention period TBC
Will the reading tell me what will happen?
No. BaZi describes tendencies, strengths and timing, not fixed outcomes. Your reading is for reflection and is not medical, legal or financial advice.
Can I order a reading for someone else?
Yes, as a gift, with their permission to share their birth details. Gift option TBC
What if something in my report looks wrong?
Reply to your delivery email and we'll look into it. Correction policy TBC
What is your refund policy?
TBC by Jin See Terms.
What is a bespoke consultation?
A private, one-to-one conversation with a feng shui master we are partnering with, offered by invitation. It is separate from our reports. Register your interest.
