The BaZi Wealth Star: What Your Chart Says About Money

Quick answer

In BaZi, your Wealth Star is the element your Day Master controls. For example, Wood controls Earth, so a Wood person's Wealth element is Earth. Where it sits, how strong it is and when it arrives in your luck cycles hint at how you earn, manage and grow money.

Direct and Indirect Wealth

  • Direct Wealth (正财): steady income from a salary, savings and careful management.
  • Indirect Wealth (偏财): more variable income from business, sales or side ventures.

Can you hold your wealth?

A strong Day Master can usually "carry" plenty of Wealth. A weak one may feel money as pressure, until supportive years arrive. This matters more than simply having lots of Wealth stars.

When wealth luck appears

Years and luck pillars that bring your Wealth element, or the elements that support it, tend to be years when money matters feel more active. See luck pillars.

What BaZi won't do

It won't predict lottery numbers. It describes your natural money style and timing, and your choices do the rest. This is not financial advice.

Questions

No Wealth star in my chart?

It's common. Wealth often comes through luck cycles, or through your Output stars (your skills and creativity) producing it.
