How to find your Day Master
You need your birth date. The time isn't needed for the Day Master itself, but if you were born close to midnight, the time can change which day counts. The easiest way is our BaZi calculator.

Strong or weak Day Master
A Day Master can be "strong" (well supported by the rest of the chart) or "weak" (under pressure). This decides your favourable element, the element that brings balance. Two people with the same Day Master can need very different things. See your favourable element.

No. The animal comes from your year branch. Your Day Master comes from your day stem.
Can two people have the same Day Master?
Yes. In theory, roughly a tenth of people share yours. The rest of the chart is what makes you unique.
